Your Help is Needed!
Each year, members
of the SRS Riding Club, comprised of students and members of Sweet
Rock Stables and the American
Morgan Horse Association (AMHA), train long hours
to perfect their horsemanship and riding skills. After years
of hard work, four of our members are ready for
the ultimate challenge; to display their prowess at the Grand
National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show in Oklahoma
City, Oklahoma, this coming October 2008.
The financial
expense of taking a team to such a
prestigious event is not insignificant. Between hauling and stall
fees, airfare, lodging and accommodations, the cost is estimated
to be approximately $5,000 per horse and rider pair.
In order to
help the riders offset these costs out-of-pocket, we must
rely on the generosity and assistance of friends, family and the
local equine and business communities. We are asking you for your
charitable contribution because we believe that you understand
the value of supporting the equestrian sport.
Please help take care of some very special riders and horses!
